The bed was super comfortable and there were ample pillows. The bed was full size, and there was enough room around the side and bottom to be able to move around the capsule without stepping on the bed. There was also a locking mechanism so you could sort of secure the door to the capsule while you were inside. The staff was super nice and was very helpful in helping me decipher the Hakone Freepass loop, and recommending restaurants. It's also great that the guesthouse serves food, especially since most places in town close so early for dinner. I didn't eat, but also was very thankful to knew I had the option in case I didn't make it back to town in time.

We enjoyed our stay in this unique guesthouse, the rooms are quite spacious, my boyfriend is 6ft and found it manageable to get in and out comfortably! When we stayed all the guests were respectful with noise etc and it was quiet all the time. The bathrooms and showers are incredibly clean which was my main concern, there are also some shops and restaurants near by which is handy but bare in mind they close very early (not many open past 8pm)

I.didnt expect a double bed! All of the beds were double beds which was great and you had you own little cubby hole to sleep in. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy and the facilities were very clean. I can't imagine staying there in the summer though with no Aircon.. the room was just bearable in November and it was 24°C

Very very sweet and kind receptionists. The property has everything you need. Showers are on the 2nd floor but enough for people. You can keep your luggage after checkout for an entire day and that was really helpful. Hot morning beverages are available for free. The hostel is very clean and has a very good vibe.

So, I think I need to start off by saying I stay in hostels and review them on Youtube (Hazelshostels) So my review is more about how about it compared to all the other hostels in tokyo. I actually came all the way to Azito just to stay in this hostel because of how CUTE it looked, I wanted some fun places for people to stay that are easy to get to from tokyo.. and this one was PERFECT! The staff, the facilities, the vibe.. it was everything I thought it would be and more! It is also a social place, for locals even.. so I think anyone that wants a fun but more calming stay would love this! The beds are SUPER COMFY and how they are set up... are pretty magical and cozy.

I got the best hotel/hostel sleep of my life here. The beds are big and comfortable and so is the capsule space. We were allowed to store our bags in the large lockers before check-in and the staff was so helpful. We decided to eat on property and their food was amazing (even now my siblings are talking about it). There are buses to the property from the train station, and if you need to walk TO the station it's mostly downhill. I wish we could've stayed for more than 1 night. Please know that there are many stairs at this property, and no elevator. Though, we didn't find them too bad at all.

Traditional tatami room with futon. The room was big enough for two of us. As expected, all three guesthouses we stayed at in Japan, including this place, were nice and clean. A steep hill to get there, which they warned us, gave us a quick cardio workout. We stayed at the private room part of the house and it was very quiet. There was a staff when we arrived in the morning, at night and the next morning. We appreciated the personal touch.

Only a 10 minute walk from the station. Our capsule was so comfortable and really spacious. My partner is 6ft 5 and he had room to stretch out and didn’t feel cramped which was lovely. Towels were provided as well. The capsule also had a sliding close door so it was a bit more private. There was also a locker for each capsule on the 2nd floor that was big enough to fit our large luggage. The showers were great and clean as well. The staff were also super lovely and helpful.

The location was great, close to the train, restaurants and shops. The common areas and the shared bathrooms were nice, clean and new. We also liked the vibe and how quiet it was, perfect to rest. Mattress was very comfortable even though it was small. Also there was a kitchen if you wanted to cook or chill there.

This was a very interesting place to stay and represents good value for money. It is similar to a capsule hotel, although the room is bigger than that; it comprises a kind of cupboard with a sliding door and is about 4' - 4' 6" high. There is more to it than just the mattress with enough space to store luggage in the room, although they also provide lockers in the corridor outside as an alternative. Obviously there is no en-suite bathroom, but a good ratio of communal facilities to the number of rooms, so there was never any queue to use the bathrooms or showers. Also, bear in mind that there are no windows, so the room is always dark until you switch on the light. There is however an electric socket, so it is easy to charge or plug-in any electrical appliance and also there was a communal fridge in the corridor for storing food and keeping drinks cool. There is also a communal kitchen although that seemed quite small for the number of guests staying at the hostel. They very helpfully gave me details in advance of the bus to catch from the railway station, although that bus only ran once an hour so if, like me, you just miss it, then it is about a 10-15 minute uphill walk. The tourist information centre outside the station gave me very good directions on how to get here.
